** this position is responsible for cashiering, merchandise sales and maintaining the store’s appearance.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* responsible for cashiering, merchandise sales and maintaining the store’s appearance
* maintains displays and ensures that the merchandise is kept neat and orderly
* rotates and replenishes merchandise
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** maintains a general knowledge or products being sold
* assists customers with general knowledge of mohegan sun
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** basic mathematical skills
* must be able to effectively communicate in english both verbally and in writing
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* good written and verbal communication skills
* ability to multi-task
* knowledge of products sold throughout mohegan sun’s stores
** training requirements:
*** previous cashiering experience
* knowledge of micros system
** physical demands and work environment:
*** must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
* must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
