Position

Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS)

Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8 hour shifts

What you’ll do
  • Provide primary clinical support to veterinarians and patients as a Credentialed Technician; assist VTS and specialists in specialty procedures and patient care.
  • Respond quickly and calmly to critical situations, maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, referral partners and co-workers in person and on the phone.
  • Develop and deliver in-house trainings and continuing education for Med Vet and the Referral Partner Community.
  • Mentor and onboard new team members.
  • Provide client and referral partner education.
  • Assist veterinary specialists in specialty procedures.
Who you are
  • VTS Certification from a NAVTA-recognized academy required.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
