RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop specific business-focused strategic plans to be used by IT in developing roadmaps and long-term solutions.
• Work with IT architecture to ensure strategic priorities drives value for the business.
• Help your business segment to understand the effort, risk, and impact of making changes.
• Understand & document business requirements and translate them to IT architects, developers, and testers.
• Direct, plan and manage tasks related to assigned application portfolio including stakeholder communications.
• Learn and understand all technical and non-technical aspects related to assigned projects.
• Work with the systems maintenance team to ensure smooth transition when the project development is completed.
• Drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and participate in developing technical alternatives.
• Respond quickly in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Research and participate in training and stay current on related issues and technologies.
• Understand security, privacy and regulatory requirements affecting your application portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• C-Suite level communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build engaging relationships with technical & non-technical teams.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Experience in managing teams of both company employees and 3rd parties.
• Deep understanding of reinsurance ops the business, processes, and data
• Knowledge of IT Systems (e.g., Infrastructure, Applications and Data)
• Knowledge of project financials (ROI, Cap Ex and OpEx)
• Experience of or willingness to train, mentor and coordinate virtual teams.
