We are seeking civil and mechanical engineers to join our project engineering team. We are looking for creative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet. As an Applications Engineer, this individual will play a key role in designing, estimating, and qualifying for Giga Watts worth of Solar Capacity around the world. This is a prime opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their professional skills and gain experience in the exciting market of Solar PV.

Location: Norwalk, CT/Hybrid

• Performengineeringanalysis,includingstructuralcalculationsforcompanyproducts,inaccordancewithapplicablecodesandstandards.
• Support Sales Staffinperformingpreliminaryprojectanalysis ,estimatingmaterialtake-offs,andrespondingtotechnicalquestions.
• Evaluateinbounddocumentationtoidentifypotentialhurdlestosuccessfulprojectcompletion Interfacewithcompanystaff,clientcommercialandtechnicalpersonnel
• Drafttechnicalprequalificationdocuments(plans,assembly drawings,and details) forgroundmountedsolarrackingsystems
• Propose, design and validate new ways of reducing the total amount of structural material in racking systems to reduce the overall cost of the system without compromise to quality

• Bachelors in Engineering Civilor Mechanical Engineeringorsimilar
• Minimum1yearofrelevantengineering,project management,sales,orestimatingexperiencepreferred
• Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings,specifications,reports
• Abilitytoperformworkindependentlyandreliablyaccordingtoworkschedulesandassignments
• Capabilityfornavigating,interpretingandapplyingbuildingcoderequirements
• ProficiencyinAutoCAD
• Mustbeself-directedandresourceful,detailorientedandabletomanagemultiplepriorities,comfortable
• workinginafast-paced environment.
