Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join a busy, round-the-clock referral and emergency setting delivering advanced small animal care.
This role offers exposure to a wide variety of urgent and critical cases, allowing the clinician to apply strong medical judgement while working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The position is well suited to a veterinarian who thrives in emergency medicine and values teamwork, clinical autonomy, and professional challenge. The role includes involvement with critical care patients and close collaboration with skilled nursing and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for patients and clients alike.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and stabilising emergency and critical care patients
- Providing medical oversight for hospitalised and post-operative cases
- Developing and implementing diagnostic and treatment plans under time-sensitive conditions
- Working collaboratively with technical and clinical support teams
- Maintaining clear and compassionate communication with clients during emergencies
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the USA
- Previous experience in emergency or critical care practice preferred
- Confident decision-making skills in high-pressure clinical situations
- Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and ongoing learning
