Position Overview
Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist – Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City).
Compensation and Benefits• Generous $75,000 sign‑on bonus/retention package and relocation allowance for full‑time candidates.
• Compensation range: $450,000–$650,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus base salary, incentives, and allowances for CMEs and dues.
• Ten days of CME provided; part‑time schedules considered.
About the OpportunityNorwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health and Northwell Health, offers full‑time and part‑time positions for a Gastroenterologist with 4th‑year Advanced Endoscopy training and/or EUS and ERCP experience. The program includes a three‑year Yale University School of Medicine Level II affiliated fellowship leading to ABIM certification. Our gastroenterology team includes eight physicians, two advanced practitioners, and offers a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a brand‑new endoscopy suite.
The role focuses on a mix of general and advanced cases and is open to new or recent graduates, including 2026 graduates.
Qualifications- Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology.
- 4th‑year trained in Advanced Endoscopy or experienced in EUS and ERCP.
- Collegial, team‑oriented approach.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds, is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year, and serves a broad region of Western Connecticut and eastern New York. The city of Norwalk offers cultural diversity, recreation, and excellent schools. It is one hour outside New York City.
