Specialty dental practice in Norwalk, CT is seeking a dental assistant. Duties will include preparing and cleaning operatories, sterilization of instruments, taking x-rays, stocking and managing supplies, working closely with administrative office staff, attending to patients, and directly assisting dentists with a variety of procedures in a surgical setting. Must have a good work ethic, be reliable, have a positive attitude and be a team player to join our team!
Responsibilities- Prepare and clean operatories for patient procedures
- Sterilize and manage instruments and supplies
- Take dental X-rays as required
- Stock and manage supplies for the practice
- Assist dentists directly with procedures in a surgical setting
- Coordinate with administrative staff and attend to patients
- Good work ethic
- Reliable, positive attitude, and strong team player
- Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, staff, and patients
