Accounts Payable Manager

The Accounts Payable Manager oversees daily AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements. This role manages internal controls, vendor relationships, IRS and sales tax reporting, accruals, audits, and leads a team of AP professionals in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.

• Manage full-cycle AP operations (invoicing, payments, reimbursements)
• Supervise, mentor, and develop AP staff
• Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements
• Oversee 1099/1042 reporting, CT sales tax, and AP accruals
• Perform reconciliations and support audits
• Partner with Procurement and internal departments
• Resolve vendor and payment discrepancies

• BS in Accounting (CPA/CMA preferred)
• 5–7 years AP experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity environments
• Familiarity with SAP or large ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
