Material Planner - Supply & Logistics III

Location: USA - Barberton Plant, 4829 Fairland Road, Norton, OH, 44203

Salary: $30 per hour

Level III: 5-7 years of experience. Under direct supervision, assists in determining the quality and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule. This is an entry‑level materials position that frequently reports to an Inventory Control Manager.

• Teslin raw material inventory management and procurement
• Packaging supply inventory management and procurement
• Teslin railcar management and coordination with local railroads
• Management and coordination of trucking for raw materials, packaging supplies, and other department supplies
• Weekly daily/weekly production updates
• Coordination of hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments for the department
• Teslin empty container management
• Develop and update SOPs related to the procurement and management of raw materials and packaging supplies for the department

• Support Barberton EHSLT Committee and subcommittees as requested
• Support HOP process through interactions and Pre‑Task Briefs

Also expected to learn the Teslin process sufficiently to communicate and support achievement of KPIs related to Safety, Productivity, Quality, and Delivery. The incumbent will serve on the Teslin On‑Call Rotation and will receive basic supervisory training to cover for the supervisor in emergency situations orenu outages.

• Ability to work independently and without close supervision
• Ability to make decisions
• Experience with SAP, which is遵critical to setting up raw materials and supplies
• Strong personal computer skill level with Windows, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience:

5-7 years of experience, reporting to an Inventory Control Manager.
