We're currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Custom Appliance Installer Assistants
. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company and start your career with us, as there's room to grow here. The ideal candidates are comfortable using hand tools and are mechanically-inclined. Basic knowledge of carpentry, electricity, or plumbing is helpful.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in Carpentry & Basic Electrical/Plumbing
:
Your hands-on skills in these areas will be crucial for installing and servicing appliances efficiently and safely.

Strong Customer Service

Skills:

Our customers are our top priority. We need installers who are friendly, professional, and ready to provide excellent service with a smile.

Quick Learners
:
The appliance industry is always evolving, and we need adaptable team members who can quickly pick up new techniques and technologies.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Installing and servicing a variety of home appliances.
• Interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide instructions.
• Working alongside experienced technicians to gain valuable on-the-job training.
• Maintain ongoing training, documentation, and maintenance of approvals for install department.
• Traveling to different job sites with company-provided transportation.
• Maintenance and upkeep of Yale-supplied materials and equipment as needed in the performance of your duties.

Requirements:

• Mechanical abilities, and must comfortable using hand tools.
• Must have good computer skills and be comfortable navigating different computer systems, emailing, using the internet, etc.
• Strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
• Great time management skills.
• The desire to learn new things, ask questions, and communicate.
• Neat, clean, tidy, and professional appearance.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:30am start time. Saturday availability is a plus but not required.
* This position will report to our brand-new Norton, MA facility located off of Route 495.

Qualified candidates can expect the following:

• Initial phone interview with internal recruiter.
• Mechanical online assessments related to this position (should take approximately 45 minutes to complete).
• Virtual interview with our hiring managers.
• In-person interview including the opportunity to follow another appliance installer on the road to get the full experience of the position.
