About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic Senior Estimating Manager to lead our preconstruction and estimating operations. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to the team, ensuring all estimates, schedules, constructability reviews, value engineering efforts, and cost planning align with company goals. Your expertise in electrical utility preconstruction and your ability to mentor and inspire your team will be key to driving business growth and project success.

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Estimating, and Business Development teams to ensure excellence across all preconstruction activities.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and execute strategies to achieve regional growth goals while ensuring the scalability of the Estimating and Preconstruction Departments.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting procurement processes, budgeting, scheduling, and performance requirements.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of all preconstruction and estimating services, maintaining company standards and process integrity.
Participate in design meetings, review construction documents, and evaluate potential risks, communicating findings to senior management.
Develop and implement project-specific client management strategies, managing expectations and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Partner with the Chief Estimator and team on bid strategies, vendor/subcontractor coordination, and proposal development.
Oversee bid packages, bid documents, and subcontractor solicitations, delivering creative solutions that support successful project outcomes.
Support project hand-offs and early construction phases to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years in preconstruction or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position in electrical preconstruction.
Extensive experience with large electrical utility projects ($5-$50M), particularly in Renewable Energy (Solar, BESS) and Substations.
Proven track record leading an Estimating Department and driving results that exceed company goals.
Deep knowledge of electrical construction, building systems, materials, trade practices, and market conditions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera, Bluebeam, and Estimating software (Accubid/Live Count).
