Overview

Rollon by Timken is expanding its team in our brand new facility in Norton Shores, MI. The Shipping & Receiving position is a full-time role and requires at least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility is to work with the shipping and receiving team. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

• Work with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate handling of shipments.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies on a daily basis.
• Operate logistics software such as UPS Worldship, Fed Ex, and D365 as applicable.
• Manage material handling and location control, including packing, shipping, receiving, and stocking product.
• Operate and be certified in the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine daily housekeeping to maintain a neat and organized workspace.
• Assist in physical inventory counts as required.
• Read, write, and speak English proficiently; valid driver’s license.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly; use appropriate personal protective equipment as needed.
• Pass background and medical screenings as a condition of employment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift, pallet jack, and other standard material-handling certifications are preferred.
