We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to support their flagship campus. The Labor Relations Specialist will report to the Director of Labor Relations who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
This is a NEWLY created position.
*** This is a 5 day/week ONSITE position. NO REMOTE/HYBRID OPTIONS ***
- Candidate will report to the Director of Labor Relations while working cross functionally with different departments.
- Candidate will help support the current collective bargaining agreement of a 1,500+ employee unionized campus.
- Position entails providing practical, consistent, and pro-active support, direction and advice to plant management, supervisors and employees on complex Human Resource, Labor, Employee Relations, and regulatory issues.
- This position will focus on investigations (complaint/grievance activity), overview of contract (interpretation of contract language), compliance & contractual requirements, NEGOTIATION, etc..
- Candidate will work closely with Senior HR and Operations leadership.
- This is a unionized environment.
- Bachelor s Degree is required for consideration. Advanced degree and/or certifications are considered a plus
- Candidate should have at least 5+ years of Plant level HR Union/Labor experience for consideration.
