Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on industrial robotic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute corrective repairs, including component replacement, re-alignment, and system adjustments.
- Modify and optimize existing robot programs using teach pendants and programming software.
- Install, integrate, and commission new robotic equipment and peripheral devices into production lines.
- Ensure all robotics operations adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Document maintenance activities, repair procedures, and program modifications accurately.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems relevant to automation.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with robotic vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision).
- Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Device Net).
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C#) for data analysis or custom tool development.
- Familiarity with collaborative robot (cobot) programming and safety standards.
