Process Engineer

The Process Engineer oversees the manufacturing processes and new product process engineering activities, conducting assessments and testing to support product launches and improve production efficiency and quality.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze production data to design, test, and implement new or improved manufacturing processes.
• Ensure efficient and reliable operation of production lines by monitoring performance and addressing process gaps.
• Support new product launches with a focus on cost optimization, process efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new production processes.
• Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive process documentation to support training, standardization, and compliance.
• Identify process issues and performance trends; recommend and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing technical development and continuing education in foundry-related processes, technologies, and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Experience in process engineering role in manufacturing setting
• Experience with statistics and process engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in foundry or manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
• Hands on experience with 2D & 3D CAD tools
• Foundry tooling knowledge (preferred, not required)
• Machining experience (preferred, not required)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 35+ pounds
• Ability to work in high heat environment (non-temperature controlled)
