Position: Factory Operative

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Industrial Door Engineering is a leading manufacturer of high‑quality roller shutter doors and industrial doors. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering the best to our clients, we’re looking for a dedicated and hardworking Factory Operative to join our team.

As a Factory Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process of our industry‑leading roller shutter doors. This is a hands‑on position that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.

• Assemble, cut, weld and prepare components for roller shutter doors.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized factory environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines.

• Experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Competent in welding and fabrication (ideally in industrial doors but not essential).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).
