We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education teacher to join our secondary school on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a real impact on our students’ understanding of religious and philosophical concepts.

• Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage
  5)
• Create an inclusive learning environment that respects diverse beliefs and backgrounds
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Support students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and attendance in line with school policies
• Participate in school activities, parents’ evenings and departmental meetings

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Religious Studies or related subject
• Experience teaching RE at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge across major world religions and philosophical themes
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

• Experience teaching examination classes (GCSE/A-Level)
• Knowledge of current RE curriculum developments
• Ability to contribute to wider school life
