Location: Northport, Alabama
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Requirements: One weekend per month; holidays as scheduled
Setting: Inpatient and Acute Care Units
Floating: Required

Position SummaryThe Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients in the inpatient and acute care settings. This includes developing individualized plans of care, implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure the best outcomes. Typical caseload includes geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients.
EducationRequired: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
CertificationsRequired: AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
LicensesRequired:
Active Alabama Physical Therapist License in good standing
Must maintain active status with state board or licensing agency
Preferred: Dual licensure in Occupational Therapy (OT) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
ExperienceRequired: Minimum of 2 years of experience
Will Consider: 18 months of experience if working under top-level professional supervision and at least 1 year in specialty care
