Description

Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to set up machines and conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, and monitor operations to ensure everything runs efficiently.
• Ability to work in a standing position for the entire shift, including climbing steps and ladders.
• Monitors and assists with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
• Follow packaging schedule, quality control, and sanitation procedures concerning weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup, and changeovers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers.
• Observe all plant safety, GMP, and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions.
• Assist in other departments.
• Responsible for manufacturing, distributing, and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, and SQF.

• Immediately report all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor.
• Collaborate with others; share knowledge, skills, and information within your team and across functional areas.
• Enhance technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
• Follow supervisor’s directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.
• Must have experience with operating and maintaining machines and ensuring the entire production line runs efficiently.
• Must have food industry experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
