Position: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2

Location: Northlake, IL

Pay Rate Range: $27/hr to $30/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Perform physical inventory tracking, staging, and management to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
• Monitor data center systems for equipment failure or errors, and respond appropriately
• Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and regulatory compliance activities
• Handle material movement tasks such as shipping, receiving, and destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or IT environment
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
