Data Center Operations Technician
About the OpportunityModern data centers don't just grow - they evolve. As new infrastructure comes online, legacy equipment must be carefully recycled in a way that protects data, recovers value, and supports long‑term sustainability goals.
This role sits at the intersection of hardware operations, security, and responsible asset lifecycle management. As a Data Center Circular Operations Technician, you'll help guide data center equipment through its final phase—from controlled shutdown and disassembly to component recovery and secure data destruction. Every step you take ensures operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility.
It is a hands‑on role for technicians who enjoy physical hardware work, repeatable processes, and knowing their work directly supports large‑scale infrastructure transformation.
How You'll WorkYou will operate in a high‑throughput data center environment with established procedures, detailed tracking systems, and clearly defined safety standards. While collaboration is key, this role also requires confidence working independently, prioritizing tasks, and escalating issues when needed.
Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are critical—especially when handling data‑bearing devices and serialized assets.
