# Production Associate - DEN Colorado - Northglenn, CO 80233## Description
*
* Purpose:

** Perform all tasks involved in the production of JBC Technologies, Inc. products. This includes laminating, slitting, die-cutting and assembly work with various materials including foams, rubbers, metals, graphite, cork-fibers, and fiberglass.  Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Prioritizes safety
* Sets-up and operates any shop machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
* Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams to correctly set up dies and equipment
* Adheres to operating procedures/instructions
* Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity
* Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors
* Communicates process and quality improvements
* Maintains a clean and safe workstation; follow shop 5S system
* Embraces a team attitude that aligns with JBC’s Core Values
* Accurately records labor and material usage in ERP system
* Follows all JBC policies and procedures
* Other responsibilities as assigned by management## Qualifications
*
* Education and Experience:

*** High school diploma/GED or equivalent
* 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/shipping environment
* Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing
** Job

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*** Ability to read and perform basic math skills, including counting
* Ability to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand tools
* Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
* Basic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specs
* Ability to follow directions
* Strong manual dexterity
** Physical Demands:
*** Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for an entire shift
** Personal Protective Equipment:
*** Protective equipment not required but available
* Protective equipment, such as gloves, required for specific tasks
*
* Work Schedule:

*** Normal Schedule –   + 1st Shift - Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
* Overtime scheduled as needed and may be mandatory on Fridays and Saturdays
** Work Environment:
*** Work performed in a plant/production environment
* Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material, dust, fumes, and noise.
* Must be able to work as part of a team or independently with limited supervision
