We invite applicants for the Norwich RN position at UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center
, a seasonal, full‑time role requiring full‑time hours for a period of time during the year.
The Norwich Registered Nurse, under the guidance of the Lead Norwich RN, the providers, and the Clerical Office Supervisor, is responsible for providing direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients; serving as patient advocate; and providing teaching, counseling and emotional comfort to patients and family members. The RN provides direct care within the limits of the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and CVMC policies and procedures, conforming with professional standards, physician orders, and approved plans of care.
BasicKnowledge
Graduation from an approved professional nursing education program. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
ExperienceOne year of experience to be proficient in all phases of assigned duties.
