Arena Sales & Marketing Manager

Fulfills the mission of Norwich University by overseeing Sales and Marketing for Kreitzberg Arena.
Essential Functions- Oversees and administers the Sales and Marketing at Kreitzberg Arena; includes building, Zamboni, dasher board, and ice advertising sales.
- Invoices advertisers and ensures payments are received timely.
- Oversees event promotions in collaboration with sponsors and athletics.
- Manages varsity ice hockey ticket operations, including marketing and promotion of hockey tickets, analyzing markets, identifying opportunities, exploring new sales opportunities (season ticket, group sales, corporate sponsor ships), working with MCO to develop and maintain an up‑to‑date and appealing hockey ticket website, utilizing social media for promotion, exploring marketing tickets through corporate and community events, planning promotional campaigns (contests or giveaways) to boost brand loyalty, developing content for marketing materials, staying current with industry trends, planning advertising campaigns, managing online and in‑person box‑office ticket sales, managing marketing, promotion and sales of varsity hockey season tickets, sales and effective communications with season ticket holders, executing plan for marketing and promotion of season tickets, exploring strategies for resale of season tickets for those who don't attend games, maintaining and publicizing season ticket waiting list, reconciling ticket sales for each game within the required timeframe, tracking daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures and relevant accountability reports, preparing and monitoring the budget, and preparing financial reports regarding advertising, tickets, and concessions expenses and sales.
- Communicates effectively with Arena Concession contractors, ensures equipment is fully operational and assists with facilitation of game‑day operations, builds client relationships offering customized ideas with exceptional customer service, solicits sponsorship for men's and women's hockey tournaments, works with sponsors on tickets, conference gifts, tournament awards, works with sponsors, coaches and Athletic Director to plan and execute banquets and/or hospitality events, interfaces frequently with public officials, local agencies, non‑profit organizations, event promoters, and the community, collaborates with the Arena Operations Manager for the arena ice rental schedule, attends all home Norwich Varsity Hockey games, prepares and provides time protocol for varsity hockey games, prepares game‑day PA announcement scripts, hires, trains, and oversees game‑day staff (ticket staff, announcer, music operator, goal judges,…
