Quality Manager

Overview

We’re seeking a Quality Manager who is passionate about building robust quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring every product leaving our facility meets the highest levels of safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop, interpret, and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and standards, including SOPs, KPIs, and GMPs.
• Evaluate the adequacy of current Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and system requirements.
• Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues; develop, trend, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventative actions.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system and prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
• Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers and evaluate audit findings to develop and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure quality processes from supplier materials for production.
• Look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency in the organization.
• Manage document management systems.
• Implement best practices in quality management.
• Ensure product quality, customer service, and excellence to achieve desired business plans and culture.

• 3-5 years of food safety/quality experience in food or food packaging manufacturing.
• Experience with HACCP and SQF audits.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Food safety/Audit certifications.
• GFSI certification.

The position is based in a food packaging industrial environment equipped with press machines, winders, and rewinders. The quality department maintains a cleanroom standard. The job operates on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The workplace is climate-controlled and offers benefits such as Health, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401K. This is a Permanent position based out of Northbrook, IL.

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Northbrook, IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 17, 2026.
