QA Tech/ Quality Control

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspections:
  Regularly inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they comply with quality standards and specifications.
• Testing:
  Perform various tests (e.g., dimensional, functional, visual) to evaluate product quality and performance.
• Documentation:
  Accurately document inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards. Maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
• Defect Identification:
  Identify defects and non-conformities and work with production teams to address and resolve these issues promptly.
• Corrective Actions:
  Assist in identifying root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Reporting:
  Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Training:
  Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Promptly report any safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and assist in investigating the root causes.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and address quality issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate quality issues and solutions to various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Work effectively with production teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of quality issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a safety culture.

$17.97/hr (Attendance bonus available At 90 days, raised to $19.21)
