J. Blanton Plumbing is expanding its Water Restoration division and is seeking a hands‑on Project Manager - Water Mitigation to lead field operations and oversee mitigation projects from initial response through completion.
This is a field‑driven leadership role for someone who understands water mitigation at a practical level and is ready to take ownership of crews, processes, timelines, and quality. You’ll play a key role in helping build and scale a growing restoration division.

What You’ll Do Project Oversight & Execution- Manage water mitigation projects from initial assessment through job completion
- Ensure proper drying procedures in accordance with IICRC standards
- Monitor job progress, timelines, and profitability
- Supervise, schedule, and support mitigation technicians in the field
- Provide on‑site direction, coaching, and quality control
- Help train and develop technicians as the division grows
- Ensure accurate moisture mapping, drying logs, photos, and job documentation
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and internal quality expectations
- Coordinate closely with estimators, operations, and homeowners
- Serve as a point of contact in the field to ensure smooth project flow and customer confidence
- Identify issues early and solve problems in fast‑moving environments
- Experience in water mitigation / water damage restoration
- Previous experience supervising technicians or crews
- Strong working knowledge of drying equipment, moisture tracking, and mitigation processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
- IICRC WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician (strongly preferred)
- IICRC ASD – Applied Structural Drying
- IICRC AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation
- OSHA safety certification (preferred but not required)
