JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the SVP of Operational Excellence, the VP
- Inventory Control will lead the Inventory Control team in maintaining the inventory accuracy within operations process paths. This position will be responsible for optimal management of company inventory and ensuring quality controls are in place to minimize defects that may results in customer impact. This individual is expected to establish the vision and long-term roadmap for the Inventory Control Organization including the development, management, and improvement of leading and lagging KPIs required to drive Inventory accuracy and minimize losses CORE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and deploy Medline Operations Inventory Control Strategy to ensure inventory accuracy across our network of over 35 Distribution Centers - Establish a long term vision and develop the strategic plan for the Inventory Control team to optimize inventory control practices and enable heightened focus on customer service - Build organizational capabilities in both Inventory Control and Operations to meet future needs of the organization.

- Collaborates with other Sr. leaders in Finance, Operations, Customer Service and Quality to align and drive strategic initiatives to enable Medline long term objectives.

- Supports the Operational Excellence effort in the quest for zero Operational Service Issues by defining and executing an Inventory Control Strategy that minimizes inventory variances - Drives operational readiness for internal and external inventory and process audits, ensuring compliance with industry best practices - Responsible for Inventory Control oversight, ensuring appropriate controls and practices are established to maximize inventory accuracy (quantity and value) to meet customer expectations - Responsible for Inbound traffic planning for the entire network and management of freight claims - Monitors customer claims and conducts root cause analysis to improve customer service in alignment with our Quality commitment to shipping the right product, in the right quantity, in the right condition at the right time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, statistics, economics, supply chain or related field Relevant

Work Experience:

- 10+ years of related experience in inventory control, inventory management, quality assurance and/or quality excellence - Experience in Warehouse and Distribution - Experience working in a Lean Six Sigma or TPM Organization Certification / Licensure:
Lean Six sigma or TPM certification preferred. Additional skills:

- Experience in developing and/or implementing organization-wide strategies and plans to deliver results.

- Experience in leading a change management initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

- Experience working in a publicly traded company - Ability to travel 25% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Master's degree in related field Relevant

Work Experience:

- Experience with logistics technology, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and visibility platforms. Certification / Licensure:

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$ - $ Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
