Assistant Store Director:
Operations-Store Leader
Under the direction of the Store Director, the Department Manager of Operations will support execution of the operational priorities within the 4 walls. They will be responsible for maintaining performance of their stores’ back of house practices to drive efficiency and achievement of related goals.
Primary Job Functions- Drive achievement of sales, controllable profit, EBITDA, payroll management, and P&L performance
- Manage planning, timelines, budget and communication of all required operational processes
- Organize the stock room, including merchandise set up, equipment, supplies and technology
- Execute all inbound and outbound freight flow (dock to floor processes) and maintain inventory integrity
- Resolve maintenance and repair issues for all facilities
- Develop and retain direct reports, ensure readiness for increased responsibilities and provide bench of internal talent for critical positions
- Support training for new company programs, procedures, and technologies
- Consistently model and coach behaviors that exceed key performance indicators
Establish positive interpersonal relationships and actively collaborate and contribute to a positive team dynamic. Inspirational leader through action and collaboration, coaching and role modeling to bring out the best in teams. Easily adapt to changes and consistently deliver exceptional results. Generate and share original ideas, tackling simple and complex problems.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Associate diploma acceptable)
- 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume and/or proven track record managing a selling workforce and achieving results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven sales track record and results‑driven approach
- Time management skills, comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities
- High standard of customer service and ability to build exceptional customer relationships
- Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise
- Ability to act promptly in routine situations and provide clear action plans resulting in positive customer outcomes
- Operational knowledge of radios, POS register, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Base salary: $58,000‑$65,000 (variable by market, experience, and qualifications)
