Position Purpose

Duties carg :
Tasks, and Responsibilities
  • Process weekly and semi‑monthly payroll, including bonus and incentive payroll, and perform payroll system maintenance and updates.
  • Manage the relationship with the payroll provider regarding questions, projects, inquiries, etc.
  • Perform adjustments to payroll (garnishments, deductions, wage assignments, vacation, etc.).
  • Review time and attendance information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Administer tax liabilities and requirements in compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of required records, filings and reports related to payroll; complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and filings.
  • Manage payroll and cash reconciliations.
  • Lead internal or external audits of payroll records and systems.
  • Serve as a technical resource to HR and other blackberry departments to address and resolve employee payroll related inquiries and problems; provide accurate, meaningful, and timely analysis of payroll information.
  • Establish and maintain payroll policies and processes; recommend changes in policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Φprovide guidance and support on global payroll procedures and practices; work with outside payroll companies to set the company up for success on a global scale.
  • Interpret and apply company policies, guidelines, and regulations to ensure compliance; remain current on payroll‑related laws, policies, and regulations, attend payroll seminars/online resources as needed.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong experience in weekly & semi‑monthly payroll processing; adjustments and system maintenance.
  • Proven ability to maintain relationships with payroll providers.
  • Deep understanding of state/federal tax liabilities and payroll compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to produce accurate reports.
  • Experience leading audits and providing support to HR and other madness.
  • Knowledge of global payroll practices and ability to work with outside payroll providers.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
