Job Summary

Amada Senior Care Northshore is looking for a compassionate Caregiver to provide assistance with daily living activities and ensure the comfort and well‑being of clients. The role involves personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and support with transportation and errands.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and behavior management when necessary.
• Prepare meals and manage special dietary needs.
• Offer medication reminders and support with medication administration.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Escort clients to appointments and run errands.
• Monitor health status changes and report to supervising staff.
• Maintain household records and assist with household maintenance.

• 1+ year of experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proficiency in caregiving techniques.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to commute or relocate to the North/Western Suburbs of Chicago.
• Valid  Social Security Card are required;
  Driver’s License is preferred.
