We are seeking a driven and analytical FP&A Manager to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a growing manufacturing organization. This role will partner closely with operations and executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights that drive efficiency, margin improvement, and long-term growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing experience, operational finance exposure, and the ability to translate financial data into business strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making
- Perform monthly variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial performance
- Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to analyze cost drivers, labor, inventory, and production metrics
- Analyze margins, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing variances
- Support pricing analysis and profitability reporting
- Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting packages for executive leadership
- Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations
- Improve forecasting accuracy and financial planning processes
- Support ad hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 5–10+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment required
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance
- Experience supporting plant operations or supply chain finance preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence business decisions
