AP Coordinator
Location: Northbrook, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-term contract (1+ year) with potential for permanent conversion
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced AP Coordinator to join its corporate headquarters in Northbrook. This role is responsible for accounts payable processing, including purchase order-related and cost invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreed terms.

Key Responsibilities- Process and input purchase order and cost invoices in accordance with company policies
- Monitor invoice discrepancies and partner with purchasing associates to research and resolve issues
- Assist with month-end balancing and reconciliation of AP balance sheet accounts
- Support overall AP operations within a small, team-oriented accounting department
- Report directly to the Accounting Manager
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting preferred
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- SAP experience required (Ariba preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Accounts Receivable experience a plus
- Experience with ADP Payroll a plus
- Hybrid work model (remote and in-office)
