DUTIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• Managing with monthly closing duties involving various journal entries, accruals, posting and reviewing financial data
• Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports (including consolidations), variance analysis and supporting schedules
• Complete monthly management report and presentation
• Participate in company-wide quarterly forecasting requirements and annual planning process.
• Prepare corporate quarterly forecasting and annual planning.
• Prepare, review and approval of account reconciliations and journal entries
• Provide analysis and support for forecasting & proforma requests
• Participate in ad-hoc projects to support plant accounting requests
• Provide support to set up system security requests
• Research on all technical accounting topics in accordance with US GAAP

REQUIREMENTS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• B.S. or B.A. in Accounting
• 2-5yrs accounting experience
• CPA or CPA tracking preferred
• Proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Manufacturing background ideal but similar sector also ok
