** Position Overview
** Our growing team has an open role for Senior Accountant. The candidate will handle a broad and diverse range of responsibilities and assignments to support various dimensions of the Accounting function. The role will embrace attributes of adaptability and flexibility as the specific duties and responsibilities will evolve based on both the skills of the incumbent and the growth of the Company.

The candidate must be a motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and process improvement skills. Competency-Based Requirements
* Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, public company and multi-entity accounting.
* Analytical Thinking:
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
* Initiative & Ownership:
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and drives projects to completion.
* Communication:
Clearly explains financial information to stakeholders at all levels and can escalate complex issues to senior accounting leadership when needed;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Works effectively across teams and supports development and mentorship of junior staff; can work autonomously when needed.
* Adaptability:
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform complex general ledger close activities, including account reconciliations, variance analyses, and preparation of manual journal entries.
* Prepare advanced financial schedules and management reports; analyze trends and identify process or reporting improvements.
* Oversee and prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
* Partner with finance, treasury, and accounting leadership on strategic initiatives, system enhancements (ORACLE transition), internal controls/SOX implementation and special projects.  Perform technical accounting research and propose solutions.  Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, explanations, and documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation opportunities, and best-practice implementation.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree; CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with Workday or Oracle is a plus.
* Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable with ambiguous, complex projects.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
