Warehouse Associate - Freezer

Overview

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions within our warehouse. This position will be working exclusively in the freezer.

• Performs general warehouse duties as assigned including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps the warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required. Ensures the work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and contacts supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replaces with charged batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklist. Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse and/or production work experience.
• Must be able to work in cooler and freezer environments ranging from 36°F (2°C) to
  -10°F (-23°C).
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as forklift operation.

• Pay starts at $20 an hour plus incentive (based on experience)
• Schedule is Monday - Friday from 6am - finish
