Estimator​/Assistant Estimator

Position Description

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail‑driven Estimator / Assistant Estimator to join our growing team at LKD Fitouts. Based in Perth, LKD Fitouts specialises in delivering high quality construction and project management services in the hospitality, retail, medical & office sectors. Our projects are diverse and fast‑paced, with each one planned and flawlessly executed, all while fostering a supportive, fun and engaging team culture.

The role is offered on a Casual Basis with the view to transitioning into a Full‑Time role.

• Assist the Estimator/Scheduler and Project Manager in various projects
• Develop your skills in reading plans and taking off construction quantities
• Help develop financial budgets and update as required
• Ensure quality control and compliance
• Engage in sub‑contractor procurement
• Be involved with procuring and putting together tenders
• Work with the management team on project completion to improve estimating accuracy and construction outcomes

• Previous experience in a construction related estimating, project management, or scheduling, role
• Previous experience with Plan Swift would be preferred
• Acquired a minimum 1 years project experience would be preferred
• Be self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
• Have substantial experience in the management and supervision of contractors & suppliers
• Possess strong financial and time management skills
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Very good written and verbal communication
