Research Scientist
Our client, a leader in research and development within the industry, is seeking a dedicated Research Technician to join their innovative team. As a Research Technician, you will be an essential part of the R&D department, supporting engineers and scientists in advancing cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Research Technician
Location: Northboro, MA
Pay Range: $18-$30 BOE
Shift: Days 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Safely performs specialized R&D assignments, including testing, analyzing, and improving processes, equipment, and products.
- Supports engineers and scientists with project development and experimental tasks.
- Prepares and processes material samples, involving routine laboratory activities and experimental design.
- Engages in development work with non-routine R&D assignments, such as designing fixtures and establishing data acquisition methods.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs and works in both R&D and industry environments simultaneously.
What's Needed?
- Zero years of prior experience required; training provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to safety and detail in laboratory settings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment supporting multiple projects.
