Job Description :

Pay Range: $24.35hr - $29.35hr

The Packaging Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated and manual packaging equipment in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety procedures.
This role involves manual and automated packaging, documentation, equipment optimization, and collaboration with production teams to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Interact with automated and manual equipment for setup, changeover, and cleaning per SOPs and GMP guidelines.
Document all production activities in batch records, log sheets, and electronic systems accurately.
Maintain adequate inventory of packaging materials to support continuous operations.
Perform manual packaging on an assembly line and handle high-value product vials safely.
Lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 3 hours).
Identify, document, and report process deviations to supervisors.
Ensure all required training is current and completed before expiration.
Work safely with hazardous materials such as Isopropyl Alcohol and Butanone.
Collaborate with manufacturing and support teams in a dynamic environment.
Use computer-based systems for data entry, analysis, inventory management, and communication.
Maintain and inspect flammable cabinets and hazardous waste accumulation areas.
Optimize automated packaging equipment to improve performance and efficiency.
Work daytime shifts with occasional weekend requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 10 years of experience in a packaging or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong documentation and basic math skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with ERP systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in packaging or equivalent manufacturing environment.
Experience working under Good Documentation Practices.
Ability to work in controlled environments requiring gowning (hairnet, beard cover, lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, shoe covers, and PPE).
Comfortable working with products stored in 2 8 C cold rooms.
