Current NeedWe are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Northborough, MA. This position is responsible for the Case pick department.
Responsibilities- Responsible for a variety of tasks including picking, housekeeping, safety, customer satisfaction, employee morale, and engagement
- May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
- Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
- Ensures associate safety and builds a positive collaborative team
- Continuous development of direct reports, including coaching, direct feedback, and written evaluations
- 4+ years operational experience
- 2+ years managerial experience
- 2+ years experience in a DC/warehouse setting
- 2+ years experience working as a supervisor, trainer or leader of a department or group
- 4+ years experience working in a warehouse/distribution/transportation environment
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Experience with WMS systems
- LMS experience preferred
- Preferred performance management experience
- Experience as a diverse people leader with proven results
- Ability to work autonomously
- Powered Industrial equipment certification preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Critical thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Conflict resolution experience preferred
- Analytical mindset
4-year degree or equivalent experience.
Physical RequirementsGeneral Warehouse/Distribution Center environment.
The ability to walk 5-7 miles per day and be on the floor 85% of the day.
