We invite a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our college health services team. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of primary and urgent care to a diverse student population, enhancing their overall health and academic success.

  • Job Types: Full-Time
  • Salary: $55 – $65 per hour depending on experience

Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience, preferably for youth or adolescent health.
  • Graduate from an accredited PA program and certified by the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for experience in youth or adolescent health.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of students.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and manage emergency health situations.
  • Coordinate with specialists and provide follow-up care as necessary.
  • Educate students on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and wellness programs.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Able to travel locally if required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in French is an asset.
