IMMEDIATE NEED

Contract Duration: September 4, 2025 – December 19, 2025

The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery at the College Drive Campus:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in all aspects of general carpentry and building construction
• Journey Person Carpenter Certificate is an asset
• Demonstrated teaching ability and knowledge of adult learning and student success strategies
• A good understanding of the needs of Indigenous learners
• Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills
• In-person, on-campus position. Must be able to reliably commute to M’Chigeeng, ON.

• Teach CAR
  015 and CAR
  016 in the Renovation Techniques
  - Construction Carpentry Program
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Work closely with students to provide a dynamic learning environment incorporating small practical projects
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities and community liaison
