Salary: £29,120 – £30,160 (depending on experience)

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
Breaks: 45-minute lunch plus two 15-minute breaks
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a well-established operation based in Brackmills, Northampton. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a busy warehouse environment, offering consistent daytime hours and a supportive team culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods across the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles in line with company procedures
Moving stock within the warehouse and accurately placing goods into racking locations
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch where required
Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any faults
Maintaining accurate stock control through scanning systems or paperwork
Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies at all times
Supporting general warehouse duties as required

The Ideal Candidate :

Holds a valid and in-date FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Previous experience working within a high-volume logistics operation
Flexibility to support overtime during peak periods
