Join Our Growing Team – Trainee Transport Planner – Based at Costco Crick

We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join our expanding business and start a new career in the traffic office as a Trainee Transport Planner. We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced, and highly organised individuals to join our team.

This role will involve planning and scheduling temperature controlled deliveries to customer sites, ensuring an efficient, timely, and cost‑effective transport operation.

• Plan and coordinate the delivery and collection of goods to various customer delivery points
• Ensure optimal use of fleet and driver resources
• Maintain accurate records using in‑house systems (training will be provided)
• Support operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with transport legislation
• Adapt to changes in schedule and resolve transport‑related issues promptly

Sunday to Thursday 10am until 7pm with 1 hr for breaks

Starting at £28k based on experience

• Previous experience in a transport background is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
• Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements
• Good geographical knowledge (preferred)
• IT literate with strong organisational and communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to work
• Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills
