1) Planned or Ad‑hoc nights out - based Northampton

Position: Class 1 Drivers
Pay Rate: £42,742.39
Contract Type: Permanent (Full‑Time)
Location: Northampton - NN4 7BN

Shift patterns: Rotational shifts - starting time between 04:00am-06:00am
Week 1 - 4 days
Week 2 - 4 days
Week 3 - 5 days

* Please note we have planned night out vacancies but all drivers MUST be prepared to carry out occasional nights out as required*

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a role with great work‑life balance and a company that values its people? Based in Northampton, you’ll play a key role in delivering goods to our Travis Perkins sites, branches and customers, ensuring every journey is safe, efficient, and professional.

• Multi drop delivery to different sites (Nation wide driving)
• Between 6-8 drops per day, to and from branches and suppliers.
• Drivers to safely and efficiently load and unload our products in customer locations
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E)
• Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 6 months recent Class 1 HGV driving experience
• Ok to drive an articulated curtain‑side vehicle for Class 1 HGV work
• OK to travel all over UK to conduct deliveries to different sites
• The work will involve delivering palletised goods
• Can be planned or ad‑hoc nights out
• Early Start 4 AM - 6 AM (12hr working days)
