Night Controller

We are seeking a Night Controller to oversee and coordinate transportation operations during the night shift. This role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of vehicles, drivers, and passengers/goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 19.00 till 07.00

• Supervise and manage night-shift transport operations and staff
• Allocate vehicles and drivers according to schedules and operational requirements
• Monitor trip execution to ensure on-time departures and arrivals
• Handle real-time operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route deviations, or driver shortages
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company transport policies
• Conduct driver briefings and ensure adherence to shift protocols
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, attendance, and incidents
• Coordinate with control room, security, and other departments as required
• Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, or escalations during the shift
• Ensure proper vehicle handover and readiness for the next shift
• Report daily operations, incidents, and KPIs to management

• Strong supervisory and people-management skills
• Good knowledge of transport operations and routing
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, transport management systems, or GPS tools)
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities

• High school / Diploma / Graduate (preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet supervision
• Prior night-shift or 24/7 operations experience preferred
• Knowledge of local routes and transport regulations is an advantage
• Working Conditions Night shift role, including weekends and holidays as required
• Field and office-based work
• On-call availability for emergencies during shift hours
