To date, the company employs 3,300 people across 40+ sites including a network of strategic rail freight terminals, with a cutting‑edge fleet of 1,300 Euro‑6 trucks and over 50 container handlers servicing a number of trains daily.
Maritime has a proven track record as an intermodal operator, developing and delivering low‑carbon, container logistics solutions for first and final miles, and pioneering the modal shift of UK domestic distribution from road to rail. In 2024, the company was acquired by Swiss‑based global logistics and supply chain provider, MEDLOG S.A., supporting Maritime’s growth strategy and strengthening its market position as the UK’s leading provider of integrated road and rail freight logistics.
