Transport Compliance Coordinator

Our specialist team continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Transport Compliance Coordinator to join our North in Northampton team at Wickes
. You will be working 40 hours a week, Monday 06:00 to 14:00 and Tuesday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

  • Undertake all activities in line with the KPI requirements/service agreements and legislative requirements for that area.
  • Adhere to company procedures and demonstrate professional conduct and good customer service.
  • Work in accordance with agreed targets set by the Company and customer with regard to productivity, performance, accuracy, time‑keeping and attendance.
  • Administer the timely processing of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs to ensure vehicle availability, in line with the agreed service strategy to the Wickes network.
  • Help develop a culture of continuous improvement to drive best‑in‑class activity and operational excellence.

What You Need to Succeed at GXO

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Class 2 HGV licence.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of transport legislation would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a fleet administration role (desirable).
