Driver​/Fitter

About the Role

Our nationwide Lifting division hires a range of equipment including hoists, slings and winches to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. The duties of the Driver/Fitter will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire.

You will also be required to diagnose faults and repairs, and assist with maintenance of the Lifting Equipment.

• Significant experience working within a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
• Hands on approach with an interest in mechanics/maintenance, and willingness to learn new skills
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Full UK Drivers Licence
