CSS Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Gas Safe Engineer for a contract role, ideally based in or around Northampton. The position will involve travelling to completed housing projects within a 60‑mile radius, carrying out boiler works and remedial tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Attend completed residential properties to carry out boiler servicing, repairs, and remedial works
- Diagnose faults and complete corrective works efficiently
- Carry out gas safety checks in line with current regulations
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within compliance
- Complete relevant paperwork and certification accurately
- Liaise professionally with site teams, housing providers, and residents
- Valid Gas Safe registration
- Proven experience working on domestic boilers
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Contract role
- Competitive rates (dependent on experience)
